Join mixed-media artist, David Evans, for this obelisk making workshop. You'll learn the techniques of weaving with this versatile natural and sustainable material, starting with the basic structure and building up to a finished obelisk, which you can take home at the end of the workshop.

As well as David's expert guidance, you will be provided with all the materials and tools you need including freshly harvested willow branches and scissors.

During the workshop, you will learn how to select the best willow branches and prepare them for weaving, and how to create a sturdy and beautiful structure.

By the end of the workshop, you will be able to take home your own handmade willow obelisk to enjoy for years to come.

This event will take place outside in the outdoor classroom.
