A local golf course has proven they are ‘pitch perfect’ as they have recently installed four caravan pitches on the site.

After purchasing Barlborough Links Golf Course in 2016, owners Andrew and Fran had always planned to include some caravan pitches to allow for overnight stays and short breaks. So, after developing the site and improving the facilities on the course, they decided that the time was now right and created the four hard standing areas.

Each pitch has and electric hook up and the site is a certified location caravan site in association with the Caravan and Motorhome Club.

Golf enthusiasts can enjoy a holiday with a 9-hole golf course, 10 bay floodlit driving range, 9-hole FootGolf course, coffee shop, eight peg carp fishing pond and a range of footpaths and local amenities to explore. If you choose to stay on the site, you can enjoy the facilities at the current affiliate member rate and children under 18 can play FootGolf for free.

Located just minutes from the M1, this site is the ideal location for a quick getaway. Bolsover TV (opens in a new window) went to meet Director Andrew to take a look at the new pitches.
