The town of Bolsover is probably most famous for its Castle. Sat, perched high on the hilltop overlooking the valley below, it dominates the skyline as you approach the town.

But located inside the grounds of the Castle, there is a surprise waiting that even many locals probably don’t know is there - Bolsover Castle Bowling Club. Set against what is possibly the best backdrop a local bowling club has, this small and friendly club have been in existence since 1914.

It is open and available for social bowling every day and they enter teams in competitive league bowling Monday to Friday.
