Creswell

  • Events Centre, Elmton Road, Creswell, S80 4BH. Tel: 01909 721558. Open weekly on a Wednesday morning from 9am to 12noon offering a free warm space with free tea/coffee provided until the end of March 2023. Please note that it will be closed between Christmas and New Year.
  • Limestone House, 50-54 Elmton Road, Creswell, S80 4DA. Tel: 01909 724061. Open to the community Monday to Friday providing a cafe, a recycle charity shop, food bank and a low cost affordable drinks and lunches, money management sessions and support alongside a comfortable and warm space. Good value community lunches also available - please check with Limestone House to enquire/book. The building is fully accessible including an accessible lift to the upstairs Computer Suite. There is also an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities. For more information please email This email address is being protected from spambots.   • Ours Bar and Lounge, 2 Elmton Road, Creswell, Worksop. Doe Lea

Open Monday to Friday 9am-7pm. Warm space with games, radio, computer access and hot drinks available for free. The building is fully disabled accessible with ramped access to the front and rear. Portable hearing loops are available on request. Baby changing and showering facilities are available in the disabled toilet.

Glapwell

Warm space starting Monday 9 January until 31 March 2023. Every Monday from 10am-2pm warm space at the centre where everyone is welcome. Hot beverages, toast from 10-11am and soup and a roll from 12.30-1.30pm. They have games to play such as, cards, dominos, scrabble and lots more. Baby changing facility, disabled toilets

Hillstown

Langwith

  • Food Hub, Whaley Thorns Village Hall, Portland Road, Whaley Thorns. Supported by Rhubarb Farm, it starts on Friday 14 April from 9.30-11.30am and the food hub is open to everyone. Come and fill a bag with food of your own choice for £4.

Free warm space and 'keep warm pack' which includes items such as gloves, hat, fleece blanket, Gillet etc. Hot drinks and food available at a small cost from just £1. Thursdays from 10.30am-1.30pm. Disabled access. Held in the cafe/conservatory at Rhubarb Farm. Toilets on site. At times, seasonal veg and food is available to purchase. New Houghton

  • South Normanton Salvation Army, 124A Market Street, DE55 2EJ. Free Cafe/Drop in Centre every Wednesday from 9am to 12pm. Help and support is also available from Freedom project for Benefit advice and access to food share during this time. Free light lunches are available between 12noon and 2pm (for people struggling due to Cost of Living Crisis). Last Friday of the month between 12noon and 1.45pm free light lunches (for people struggling due to Cost of Living Crisis) followed by light entertainment from 2pm to
    3.30pm.
  • Post Mill Centre, Market Street, South Normanton, DE55 2EJ. Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm. People can meet their friends. There is a book case full of books, box of toys for small children and on days were there is a spare room, board games will be set up.

Stanfree
