Drug and alcohol misuse are a top priority in terms of health and community safety.

The Community Safety Partnership (CSP) work with DAAT (Derbyshire Drugs & Alcohol Action Team) (opens in a new window) and other partners to address alcohol related problems in the Bolsover District.

The DAAT co-ordinates and commissions drug treatment services and related activities to fulfil the aim of tackling substance misuse. The partnership continually promotes a message of sensible drinking distributing information/education leaflets and booklets to the community via targeted patrols and crime cracking events.
