The Bolsover Lantern Parade attracts thousands of residents and visitors who flock to the town to see the wonderful home-made lanterns as they are paraded through the streets.
The event has been postponed since 2019 due to the Pandemic and bad weather, but you now have the chance to be part of this spectacular event once again by taking part in one of the community lantern making workshops.
You can make a lantern any design you choose, or pick from the starter kits available if you are unsure where to start. The lanterns will then become part of the well-loved Bolsover Christmas Festival and Lantern Parade on Saturday 26 November which will light up the streets of the historic town.
The workshops are being held on 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20 November from 10am-12:30pm or 1:30-4pm at the Bolsover Assembly Rooms.
