Roadshows tour Bolsover District

We are hosting a series of roadshows across the District to help coincide with Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) week and raise awareness of what is being done and the powers that are available to tackle these issues.

The ten roadshows will provide an opportunity for us, our partners and agencies to speak with members of the community and inform them of the work that takes place across the area and how to report any issues of anti-social behaviour.

The roadshows will take place as follows:

  • Monday 18 July - Pinxton Village Hall from 10am -1pm and The Hub, South Normanton from 2-4pm
  • Tuesday 19 July - Shirebrook Market Place from 10am -1pm and The Glapwell Centre from 2-4pm - both these sessions have been cancelled to extreme weather conditions
  • Wednesday 20 July Whitwell Community Centre from 10am -1pm and Creswell Event Centre from 2-4pm
  • Thursday 21 July Tibshelf Co-op car park from 10am -1pm and Bolsover Morrison’s car park from 2-4pm
  • Friday 22 July Clowne Tesco car park from 10am -1pm and The Arc, Clowne from 2-4pm

Cabinet Member for Community Safety, Councillor Mary Dooley said, “Bolsover District is a safe place to live and we want to keep it that way. We do a lot of work behind the scenes to keep people safe in their homes and crime out of our towns and villages.

“So it is important that local people come along to these roadshows, talk to us, tell us of any issues they have and learn what we and our partners do to tackle these problems.”
