A £400k grant that will streamline and deliver digital innovation to our planning service, has been agreed.
The grant will see us working together with North East Derbyshire District Council to support investment in the planning departments ICT systems and software.
It is intended that the new software will make it easier to submit planning applications, whilst also reducing the number of invalid planning applications, resulting in better customer service and improving the overall planning process.
The funds will also be used to help employ additional staff to oversee the implementation of the project. Watch Bolsover TV where Councillor Duncan McGregor told them about the grant and what he expects from it.
