Two Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) were issued yesterday (22 February 2022) for littering in Bolsover.
Our enforcement officers were on a town patrol in the afternoon and issued the two £65 FPNs on the spot after witnessing the offences.
The officers regularly patrol our town and village centres focusing on areas where littering is a problem and are equipped with body worn cameras. We have a zero tolerance approach to waste crime and therefore anyone witnessed littering, including cigarette litter, will receive a £65 fixed penalty notice.
If you see litter or fly tipping in the District, please report it to us using our Self Service portal so we can investigate and take action as soon as possible.
