With just over a week to go until our first Bolsover District Community Lottery draw, we are urging our residents, friends and family members to sign up and be in with a chance of winning of £25,000, whilst supporting local good causes.
To date over 400 tickets have been sold since tickets went on sale last month.
Nearly 200 players have bought tickets so far, eager to win the £25,000 jackpot in the draw on Saturday 15 May, and support local good causes.
Players get to choose one of 36 registered causes to receive 50% of the £1 ticket price, with a further 10% from each ticket sold going into a community funding pot managed by Bolsover District Council. The remaining 40% goes towards prize money and running costs.
More local good causes are continuing to join and there is no deadline for applications, so if you run a non-profit organisation, community group or charity that benefits Bolsover District residents, sign up via the lottery website.
