We have signed up to the Derbyshire Armed Forces Community Covenant which pledges our commitment and support to Armed Forces personnel residing in our district.

We work with local partners to look at the provision, co-ordination and promotion of health services to current and veteran Armed Forces personnel, particularly on issues which have a direct impact upon mental health and supporting our contact centre staff to signpost veterans to a range of available support.

We have also received the bronze award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (opens in a new window). This award is a statement of intent to support defence personnel and their families.
