Elections for the Derbyshire County Council take place on Thursday 2nd May 2013. There are six County Divisions with one County Councillor for each division and the results are as follows:

61.65%Anne Western (Labour) 1519 Votes

Carl Jones (UKIP) 647 Votes
57.08%Duncan McGregor (Labour) 1503 Votes
9.38%Pete Neeve (Trade Unionists and Socialists Against Cuts) 247 Votes
8.96%Aidan Joseph Press (Conservative) 236 Votes
Bolsover South
Derek Adams (UKIP) 763 Votes
7.77%Katharine Burrow (Conservative) 218 Votes

The deadline to register to vote and to apply for a postal vote in the Derbyshire County Council elections was 17th April 2013. You can still apply to be registered but you will not be able to vote in these elections.
If you are likely to be on holiday for the election you still have time to apply for a proxy vote up until 5pm on 24th April. Please contact us on 01246 242435 or by email to request an application form.
