After achieving Investors in People (IIP) accreditation in August 2008 we committed ourselves to maintaining the standard and introduced a number of improvements. In 2009 the national standard was changed and a new assessment process introduced. In July 2011 we were re-assessed against the new standard and notification was received in August 2011 that we had achieved IIP recognition at Silver level.
IIP is a national standard that seeks to encourage organisations to develop their people and ensure that everyone performs well. To achieve this, people need the right knowledge, skills and motivation to work effectively. The Standard provides a framework to ensure that organisations achieve this.
