• Acupuncture
• Electrolysis

The Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982 Part VIII requires registration to cover both the person and the premises.  The applicant must ensure that the procedures, equipment and facilities used for the above purposes comply fully with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

The cost of registering a premises is £36.00. For an individual licence the cost is £23.00. It is illegal to conduct body piercing, tattooing, acupuncture or electrolysis until the registration has been formally approved.
