Return 2 Sport

To provide adults (16+) with the opportunity to get back into the sport that they may not have participated in for a number of years or to try a new sport in a safe, friendly and social environment.

The programme targets individuals who want a more social approach to exercise but may not feel ready or able to join a local sports club or would like an opportunity to try a new sport.

New Opportunity - Get into Volleyball

Enjoyed playing Volleyball at school, not played before and fancy a new challenge?  Want to meet new people?  Then what you waiting for head to Heritage High School in Clowne.  Sessions will take place on a Tuesday evening from 7-8pm starting on Tuesday 17th April 2012 in the sportshall for males and females 16+.  A qualified coach will be on hand to teach you the basics.  The cost to attend is £2.  For further information please contact Howard Tomlinson on 01246 593097.

allplay Tennis Programme

allplay is a practical campaign to help more people play tennis by:

  • Making it simple for people to find someone to play with of a similar level, find a court to play on in their area or find a coach
  • Bringing Tennis to different groups of people who might not usually play the game.

If you need help in finding your local courts or somebody to play Tennis with visit allplay tennis.  You can search for people in your area who are looking for a game and even contact them to get started.  It's all part of allplay, a national campaign brought to your by the LTA, to help more people play Tennis.

Ball Again - Rediscover the Game

A casual programme of basketball activities and games, designed and endorsed by England Basketball, perfect if you're looking to get back into basketball or perhaps interested in trying the game for the first time.
