Polling Area Review

All local authorities are required to undertake a review of polling areas and polling stations every four years.  We have now published the outcome of the review undertaken in the Bolsover Constituency in 2011.

The consulation provided constituents, elected members, parish councils and those people with expertise in access for the disabled, an opportunity to comment on the Council's current polling arrangements and make suggestions for improvements.

PDF icon The outcome of the review, which was agreed by Council on 19th October 2011 was based on assessments carried out by Polling Inspectors at the May 2011 elections, feedback from polling staff, candidates and premises holders and inspections undertaken by the Head of Democratic Services.

The representations received from PDF icon consultees and comments of the PDF icon Returning Officer are also available.
