The Bolsover District Local Plan
The Bolsover District Local Plan was adopted in February 2000 and covers the entire District of Bolsover.
The Plan sets out the local planning authority's policies and proposals for the development and use of land in the District.
From the 27th September 2007 Twenty one policies will no longer take effect. These are shown on an
addendum sheet. The
Direction from the Secretary of State includes a list of the policies that remain in force.
The main themes of the Bolsover District Local Plan are:
1. Sustainability
2. Regeneration
3. Making the district a better place to live, work and visit
4. Looking after our heritage
and these themes are expanded on through policy and supporting text.
