Parking Fines & Appeals

Illegal and inconsiderate parking is more than an inconvenience, it can be dangerous for pedestrians and other road users.

Derbyshire County Council is responsible for issuing parking fines, know as Penalty Charge Notices.

If you are issued with a Penalty Charge Notice and pay within 14 days of the Notice being issued you will be charged £35 for a serious offence or £25 for a minor offence. These charges rise to £70 and £50 respectively after 14 days.
