Licences and Street Trading

We administer many types of licences aimed at protecting the public health and safety and avoiding nuisance.

Licences are required for taxis, lotteries and to regulate a range of commercial and non-commercial activities including pet shops, street trading, charitable collections, skin piercing, tattooing and much, much more.

If you propose to open a new business or arrange any fund raising event, it is always best to check if any licence or permissions are required. The procedure for obtaining a licence varies depending upon what you want the licence for.
