Adventure Fest

Our popular ‘Adventure Fest’ is back and it promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

Held at Pleasley Vale Outdoor Activity Centre on Sunday 24 July 2016 this free event is open to anyone aged 7 years and above. It brings everything the great outdoors has to offer, but closer to home.

A whole host of adventurous activities are planned such as canoeing on the mill pond, climbing on the portable wall and mountain biking on the nearby trails. And for the first time bell boating will be introduced which allows a group of up to 12 people to take to the water and work as team.

Also making an appearance will be Keelan Phillips World and UK BMX flatland rider who competes around the world and has starred in many TV shows and appeared at Glastonbury 2015 on stage with Mark Ronson. He will be entertaining the crowd with a variety of tricks and stunts and will also be hosting some workshops throughout the day.

Activities will run throughout the day starting at 10am and ending at 4pm and participation is on a first come first served basis so please turn up early to ensure you can grab a spot on your favourite activity!

A signed parent consent form for anyone under the age of eighteen is required to participate in the activities, which can be obtained, along with an information pack (1.14MB) or on the day of the event.
