Handy Van Network

The Derbyshire Handy van service is a countywide scheme provided for people over the age of 60 and vulnerable people referred by partner organisations. The scheme aims to provide practical help with small jobs in and around the home, helping people to feel safe and secure.

Home Energy Efficiency

Help, advice and support is available around a range of issues including fuel poverty, keeping warm and well, grants, savings and energy efficiency.

Our Home Improvements caseworker is available to visit people in their own homes and can provide support and advice on many subjects including benefit advice, falls prevention and debt management.  This is due to us working closely with other organisations when necessary to provide as much help as possible.
