We adopted the Historic Environment Supplementary Planning Document on 1st March 2006.

The document provides detailed guidance on the implementation of certain policies in the Bolsover District Local Plan in relation to listed buildings, conservation areas, conversion of historic agricultural buildings and archaeology.

This document forms one of the first parts of the Local Development Framework for our district that will deliver the spatial planning strategy, upon which decisions on development proposals will be made.

We received nine duly made representations during the public participation exercise. One further representation was received outside the exercise period, which we resolved to consider alongside the duly made representations. These representations were considered and the document was amended to take account of the issues raised.
