Green Bins
Your green waste is collected from the edge of your property on a fortnightly basis on your dedicated collection day.
Just put the following into the bin and leave it out for collection by 6am on the days highlighted on the calendar you received.
- Yes please – Grass cuttings, leaves, hedge and plant clippings, twigs, branches and prunings, weeds, cut flowers.
- No thanks – soil rocks or stones, animal waste, food waste, cardboard, treated wood or anything else.
Unfortunately if you put unacceptable materials in your green bin, we will be unable to collect it.
Please note garden waste will not be accepted in your black bin. Black bins found containing garden waste will not be collected.
Remember to put your burgundy bin out on the same day as your green bin. Please also remember you can take any excess household or garden waste to your nearest Household Waste Recycling Centre.
If your green bin has been missed on your scheduled collection day, please complete our on-line form.
If wish to request a new or replacement green bin or if you have further queries regarding the scheme please telephone our Contact Centres on 01246 242424 or submit an enquiry form
