Equality impact assessments

What Impact do our services have on you the customer?

We recognise that the work we do has an impact on our service delivery to you, the customer, and to measure this we are in the process of conducting equality impact assessments on all our procedures. This kind of assessment will tell us if you all have equal access to our services eg  people who have impaired vision need to know we can help by supplying information in other formats such as larger print or audio CD,s.
All our services will be examined and the Equality Impact Assessments will be updated as and when they have been completed. The outcome of the assessments is expected to give us enough information to be able to improve our service delivery to you where appropriate.
