Get Set For Jog Creswell Fun Run 

The first ever Jog Creswell Fun Run is due to take place at the Multi-Sports Pavilion in Creswell on Sunday 2nd September 2012,

Three races (mini, 2.5 and 5 miles) will be held with the aim of getting as many people as possible to pull on their trainers and take part. Participants are asked to register between 9.30-9.45am with the races starting at 10am.

There will be lots of activities and things to see and do on the day, with Active Creswell also hosting a prize giving ceremony for individuals who have joined in with the Active Creswell Summer Loyalty Scheme.

The event is being organised by local jog leader Rob Stafford with support from Bolsover District Council, Village Games and Elmton-with-Creswell Parish Council. 

Individuals are being encouraged to register early to benefit from discount entry fees (up until 29th August) which are priced at £2 for adults (14+) and just £1 for children (U14). 

The event provides an ideal opportunity for people to take part in physical activity with their friends and family, with the emphasis very much about having fun and just taking part.
