Kier celebrates opening of Millrise, Bolsover

Kier Partnership Homes held a special event on 7 June to celebrate the opening of Millrise – its new, exclusive homes development of just 13 stunning cottage-style two, three and four-bedroom homes at Bolsover.

Millrise was formally opened by Councillor Keith Bowman from Bolsover District Council, and joining him to mark the occasion and cut the ribbon was Allan Jeffrey, a volunteer from Kier Partnership Home’s nominated charity, Help for Heroes (H4H)*. Kier presented Allan with a cheque for £1000 in support of H4H and for the charity collected additional donations from guests on the day.

The pretty cottage style of these homes makes them a perfect match for first-time buyers. Through FirstBuy, the government-supported scheme, where you pay from just 80% but own 100%, you can buy a new home at Millrise from only £97,596 (subject to status and qualifying conditions).

Situated just off Quarry Road, only six miles from Chesterfield and eight from Mansfield, Bolsover is also close to the M1 Junction 29a, which offers easy road access to Derby, Nottingham and Sheffield. Chesterfield railway station, on the Midland mainline, provides services between Sheffield (14 minutes) and London St Pancras (less than two hours).
