Comprehensive area assessment
The Comprehensive Area Assessment, or CAA has been suspended by the government.
Comprehensive Area Assessment, or CAA, was a way of assessing local public services in England. It examined how well councils were working together with other public bodies to meet the needs of the people they serve.
Assessments were made publicly available every year and provided an annual snapshot of quality of life in the area. The results of our Organisational Assessment have been released and you can also view other council's assessments on the oneplace website.
We were awarded a score of 2 out of 4 against the Organisational Assessment under CAA. This looks at how well we were using our resources and managing performance.
Description of scores
- An organisation that does not meet minimum requirements - Performs Poorly
- An organisation that meets only minimum requirements - Performs Adequately
- An organisation that exceeds minimum requirements - Performs Well
- An organisation that significantly exceeds minimum requirements - Performs Excellently
