Community Strategy
The Sustainable Community Strategy 2006-2020 has been developed by the Bolsover Local Strategic Partnership (LSP), of which we are a partner, and it aims to improve the economic, social and environmental well-being of local areas and have a stronger focus on balancing the needs of the local economy together with environmental and social issues.
The current
Sustainable Community Strategy 2006-2020 for Bolsover district has been developed in partnership with local communities and key public, private, voluntary and community organisations. We have also produced a summary version of this strategy.
This is a working document and acts as the main way by which the LSP achieves changes in outcomes.
Our Community Strategy comprises of six main themes:
1.Reduced Crime - A safer and better community
2.Improved Health - Getter better all the time
3.Greater Prosperity - A better place to work
4.Lifelong Learning - Better results, a better future
5.A Healthy Environment - A better place to live
6.Improved Access - Better access to all areas
Within these themes, priorities for action have been identified which partners are committed to achieve.
To monitor whether partners, collectively, are making good progress in delivering these themes, the Bolsover LSP Board receives regular progress reports on the local key strategic targets.
