Community Sport Action Groups
Community Sport Action Group (SAG’s) are a constituted group of clubs, coaches, volunteers, agencies and statutory sport providers that have an interest and desire to develop sport and physical activity opportunities, facilities and events within local communities and villages.
SAG’s act as a representative voice for community sport which is then used to lobby the Bolsover District Sports Partnership (the strategic voice for sport and physical activity in Bolsover district) to influence the development of sport and physical activity at grassroots level.
The SAG’s cover the district and meet every 4-6 weeks, providing a controlled mechanism of working with the voluntary/community sports sector and providing local people with direct contact to the districts Sports Development Officers, teachers and other key strategic partners.
