Citizens Advice Bureau
The Citizens Advice service provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities. It values diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination.
- To provide the advice people need for the problems they face
- To improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives
We have had an established telephone advice service in April 2006. This telephone triage service, based at Bainbridge Hall in Bolsover, enables residents to ring one number - 0844 848 9800 - and speak to an experienced adviser who can either answer their enquiry straight away or in complex cases arrange for a caseworker to meet and discuss the issues involved.
Appointments are arranged wherever possible within the local community or if the resident is unable to
get out of the house, a home visit will be undertaken.
