Bolsover Festival of Brass

We organise one of the leading brass band entertainment festivals in tNewstead Brass Bandhe UK today. In fact it is the biggest event of its kind in the UK.  What started life as an entertainment contest as a one section competition has over the last 5 years become a 6 section festival of music with around 42 bands and 1,400 musicians taking part.

2012 will see the event staged at Heritage High School, Boughton Lane in Clowne on Sunday 7th October. All the rules and conditions for each section are outlined below and any band wishing to enter must complete the Document icon entry form in full.

For more information please telephone 01246 593061 or complete our on-line enquiry form. We have also produced a Files icon brief video (file size 75.4MB) promoting the 2012 Bolsover Festival of Brass.
