Dog Re-homing
Our Dog Warden deals with over 200 stray dogs every year. The majority of dogs are claimed back by their owners, but some dogs are never claimed. After 7 days the unclaimed dogs become the property of the Council. We then try to re-home as many dogs as we possibly can! Most of the unclaimed dogs go to sanctuaries to be cared for, but we do try to re-home dogs to suitable homes whenever we can.
If you can offer a dog a safe and caring environment then why not join our re-homing scheme?
If you would like to be included on our re-homing register for any suitable dogs that come up for adoption please telephone our Contact Centres 01246 242424 or submit an enquiry form
