Active Bolsover District
We are running a new and exciting project called Active BD.
Ever wondered what you can do in the village but don't know what's on, where or when? Well Active BD aims to make that a thing of the past!
Our aim is to bring together all the sport and physical activity opportunities that your community has to offer and put them in one place.
In November we will launch 6 Active Hubs
- Active Bolsover
- Active Clowne
- Active Creswell
- Active Shirebrook
- Active SNAP (South Normanton & Pinxton)
- Active Tibshelf
Every single household in the District will receive a copy of their relevant 'hub' leaflet. But if you want to see what's happening somewhere else it's not a problem the Active BD website is available too! Allowing you to check out what's happening all over the district!
We are now wanting to hear from YOU!
Do you run a regular local sports or physical activity class/club? If yes, is it is open to the public? If so please let us know when, where and how much and we will get your session into your local Active Hub programme FREE.
OR would you like to see a new activity happening in your village or area? If so, what is it? Your Village Games Officer will do all they can to help make it a reality!
